2. The Short Version

HaloWords is a word puzzle game. The app works without user accounts, without advertising, and without tracking. Your game progress, statistics, and settings are stored exclusively on your device. None of this data is transmitted to us or to third parties.

3. Local Data Storage

All game data (solved puzzles, statistics, streaks, chosen language and themes) is stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device. Deleting the app also deletes this data.

4. Subscriptions and Purchases

The optional Premium subscription is billed through the Apple App Store. Apple's privacy policy applies: apple.com/legal/privacy.

To manage subscription status (e.g. whether Premium is active), the app uses RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., USA). An anonymous, randomly generated app user ID and purchase/transaction information (e.g. purchased product, purchase date, expiration date, country) are transmitted to RevenueCat. No names, email addresses, or other directly identifying data are transmitted. Learn more: revenuecat.com/privacy.

5. Notifications

If you enable the optional streak reminder, the app schedules a local notification on your device. No data is transmitted to us or third parties. You can disable notifications at any time in the app settings or your device settings.

6. No Analytics, Advertising, or Tracking

HaloWords uses no analytics tools, no ad networks, and no tracking within the meaning of Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.

7. Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to the processing of your personal data. Since game data exists only locally on your device, you can exercise your right to erasure at any time by deleting the app. For questions and to exercise your rights, contact the email address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

8. Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be updated occasionally, for example when app features change. The current version is always available at this address.
